Banana Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar (½ or ¼ acceptable)
- 8 tbsp / 1 stick butter, room temp
- 2 large eggs
- 3 ripe bananas (more is better!)
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Steps
- preheat oven to 325F.
- Cream sugar and butter in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg.
- Mash bananas with a fork in a small bowl. Add milk and cinnamon.
- Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Add banana mixture to creamed butter mix. Stir until combined.
- Add dry ingredients, mix until flour just disappears.
- Pour batter into pan and bake 45 minutes to 1h 10m. Depends on how big your pan is.
- Test with a toothpick periodically.
